Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Oat flour (or whole wheat flour) 1 cup
Rolled oats ½ cup
Plain pumpkin puree ¾ cup
Large egg 1
Unsweetened applesauce or mashed banana 2 tbsp
Natural peanut butter (xylitol-free) 1–2 tbsp
Water or low-sodium broth ¼–⅓ cup as needed
Ground flaxseed (optional) 1 tbsp
Baking powder (optional) ½ tsp
Tiny pinch of cinnamon (optional) 1 pinch

Instructions

Step 1: Mix dry ingredients

Stir the oat flour, rolled oats, flaxseed, baking powder, and cinnamon. Keep the mixture light so the muffins stay soft.

Step 2: Blend wet ingredients

Whisk the pumpkin puree, egg, applesauce or banana, and peanut butter. The pumpkin brings a warm smell your dog will love.

Step 3: Combine into a smooth batter

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry bowl. Add water or broth until the batter is thick and scoopable.

Step 4: Fill your muffin tin

Spoon the batter into mini muffin cups so the treats stay pup-sized and easy to chew.

Step 5: Bake

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15–20 minutes or until the tops are firm. Let the muffins cool fully before serving.

Safety Note:
Use only 100% pumpkin puree and xylitol-free peanut butter. Avoid pumpkin pie filling.
