Make this healthy, easy, and tail-wagging Thanksgiving Dog Recipe with turkey, pumpkin, and cranberries. A festive homemade treat your pup will love!

Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Cooked white meat turkey (plain, skinless) 1 cup
Water ¼ cup
Pumpkin puree (unsweetened) 1 cup
Chopped dried cranberries (unsweetened) ¼ cup
Egg 1
Whole wheat flour 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a food processor, purée the cooked turkey and water until smooth.

  3. Add the pumpkin puree and egg, then blend again until fully combined.

  4. Scoop the mixture into a large bowl and stir in the chopped cranberries.

  5. Gradually add the flour, mixing until the dough forms a bread-like consistency. (Use your hands to knead if needed.)

  6. Dust your counter with flour and roll the dough out to ¼-inch thickness. If it sticks, sprinkle more flour as you go.

  7. Use cookie cutters to create fun shapes like bones or leaves, re-rolling the dough until it’s all used up.

  8. Place the biscuits close together on the baking sheet — they won’t expand — and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.

  9. Cool completely before serving to your pup.
