Soft, healthy Dog Cookies made with pumpkin and oats. Quick steps, natural ingredients, and safe serving sizes for a happy pup.

Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Pureed pumpkin (plain, not pie filling) 1 cup
Oat flour (or ground rolled oats) 2 1/2 cups
Egg 1
Cinnamon (optional) 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven
Warm your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. This helps the Dog Cookies bake evenly.
2. Mix the wet ingredients
Stir the pumpkin, egg, and cinnamon in a bowl. The mixture should look smooth and thick.
3. Add the oat flour
Pour in the oat flour a little at a time. If the dough feels sticky, sprinkle in more flour until it forms a soft ball.
4. Roll the dough
Place the dough on a floured surface and roll it to about ¼ inch thick. It should feel soft but not tacky.
5. Cut out shapes
Use cookie cutters or slice into squares. Your dog won’t mind the shape as long as it tastes yummy.
6. Bake the cookies
Bake for 20–25 minutes until the edges look slightly golden. For crunchier treats, leave them in a few minutes longer.
7. Cool completely
Let the cookies cool fully so your pup can enjoy them safely.
