Warm your home with this cozy Dog Cake made with carob, banana, and oats. A safe winter “chocolate” cake your pup can enjoy in cute mini molds.

Dog Cake Carob

Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Carob powder 2 tbsp
Oat flour ½ cup
Mashed banana ¼ cup
Egg 1
Warm water 2–3 tbsp
Mini cake pan or winter silicone molds As needed

Instructions

Step 1: Mix the base

Mash the banana with the carob powder until the mixture looks silky and dark like chocolate.
This creates the deep winter smell dogs love.

Step 2: Add oat flour

Stir in the oat flour until the batter turns soft and even.
It should feel thick enough to hold shape but still easy to spread.

Step 3: Add egg and warm water

Mix in the egg and a little warm water until the batter loosens into a smooth cake texture.
Stop adding water once it pours slowly from the spatula.

Step 4: Fill the mini winter molds

Scoop the batter into small holiday molds or a mini cake pan.
Spread lightly so it bakes evenly.

Step 5: Bake and cool

 

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 12–15 minutes, or until the top is set.
Let the Dog Cake cool fully so the carob aroma deepens and the texture becomes soft.
