Turkey Breast Jerky with Rosemary

Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Turkey breast cutlets 1.5 lb
Fresh rosemary, minced 1/2 tsp
Pumpkin puree (optional) 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Freeze turkey for 30 minutes to firm. Preheat oven to 225 degrees.

  2. Slice into even 1/8 to 1/4 inch strips. Place on a wire rack.

  3. Add a thin smear of pumpkin if using and sprinkle rosemary.

  4. Bake until strips reach 165 degrees internal temperature. Lower heat to 170 degrees and dehydrate 2 to 3 hours until firm and flexible.

  5. Cool fully before storing.
