Make a soft, festive Christmas Tree Dog Cake with oat flour, pumpkin, and applesauce. A simple 4-step holiday treat your pup will love.

Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Oat flour 1 cup
Unsweetened applesauce 1/3 cup
Organic pumpkin powder 2 tbsp
Dog-safe ginger powder 1 tsp
Egg 1 large
Warm water 2–4 tbsp, as needed

Instructions

1. Mix the dry ingredients

Combine the oat flour and dog-safe ginger powder. Stir until the warm spice scent spreads evenly through the bowl.

2. Blend the pumpkin and applesauce

Fold in the applesauce and pumpkin powder. Mix until the batter is smooth with no dry spots.

3. Add the egg and warm water

Crack in the egg and pour in warm water slowly. Stir until the batter becomes soft and spoonable. Add a little extra water only if the texture is too thick.

4. Press, bake, and cool

 

Spoon the batter into a Christmas tree mold and press lightly so the shape is clean. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–16 minutes, or until firm. Let the cake cool fully so it holds its sharp tree edges.
